2020 Lake Minneola Sunset Triathlon & 5K Cancelled due to concerns related to the Coronavirus.

IMPORTANT EVENT NOTICE - LAKE MINNEOLA SUNSET TRIATHLON & 5K CANCELLED FOR 2020.

Dear %FIRST_NAME%,

Thanks for your patience, support, and understanding during this difficult time. While we were hopeful we would be able to stage the Lake Minneola Sunset Triathlon & 5K on the new May 23, 2020 date, it is becoming more apparent that this will not be a viable option. The uncertainty of what will happen when Florida's stay at home directive is lifted in early May, the City of Clermont's decision to close all city parks until May 11, not knowing if the CDC will have new guidelines in place for mass gatherings for the summer, along with other concerns, leave us no choice but to completely cancel the live race for 2020.

We know you trained hard to prepare for this race. As a result of the event cancellation, we would like to offer you the following options to select from:

1) A free event deferral to next year's race, tentatively scheduled for April 17, 2021.

2) The ability to apply 100% of the entry fee you paid for this race towards any upcoming Sommer Sports event in 2020.

3) Transfer your entry to an upcoming Sommer Sports event of the same or lesser distance.

All options will be valid through April 18, 2020.

To select one of the above options, log into RunSignup then go to Profile>>Upcoming Events>>Manage Registration. Please note that this action must be completed by the person who completed the original registration.

Remember, all transfers and deferrals must be completed by April 18, 2020.

If you defer to the 2021 race, your entry will automatically be transferred to the 2021 event when the race is renewed for 2021 in early summer.
