BE PART OF THE 2020 SOMMER SPORTS TEAM!

Sommer Sports is gearing up for an exciting 2020 event season and we are ready to add additional super stars to our team. Listed below are just a few of the opportunities available.  Most positions listed are part-time and/or contracted positions with great flexibility in scheduling.

Only select opportunities offer financial compensation, but many offer the ability to earn free race credits.

Event Team Member

The people who make it happen!

As a member of the Event Team you will be filling a vital role in the overall event production and will take direction from the Race Director and Event Coordinators. Duties include setting up small tents, erecting structures, loading and unloading of event equipment from truck/trailer, driving fence stakes, putting up event fencing, filling coolers, event execution, tear down, clean-up and more.  

Applicants must be able to work in a sunny, hot and humid outside environment and be able to lift 60 pounds, all with a positive attitude.

Work hours are typically 8:00am - 6pm for set-up and 5:00am - 4:00pm on race day, although hours vary for each event.

Applicants who can work multiple days and events are preferred.  

Only responsible applicants that are able to arrive on time each day need apply.  Interested applicants please include availability and previous event experience when responding.

Opportunities are available throughout the season.
